About Pete Webber

Born in Derby and raised on cattle stations throughout the Kimberley region.

horseman with over 30 yrs experience in the equine industry.

Pete has started around 1800 horses and has trained and sold close to 100  horses.

He has started wild ponies, untouched station horses, racehorses, pleasure horses, show horses and most breeds available in Australia.

Part of Pete's time was spent in New Zealand and most of WA holding horsemanship and hoof trimming clinics.

The passion of horses continue through our sale horses which are from two breeders Woodstock paint horses in Vic and Delamak Quarterhorses in Three Springs WA.

Pete continues to offer horse starting, training and re-educating to the public.

In the early 80's Pete completed a 16 week farrier course held at Muresk College. The instructor was a Scotty Simpson from Montana USA.

Still to this day Pete does barefoot trimming and the wild horse trim.  He spent many years as a farrier which including time with Graham Harradine from Harradine Vets in Bunbury  learning and treating horses with  hoof problems this included reconstructive and surgical procedures. The majority of Pete's time as a farrier was spent hot shoeing and trimming until his later years where he immersed himself into the wild horse trim which he continues today.

Pete studied the natural wild horse hoof trim and continued down the path of rehabilitating horses with hoof injuries, laminitis, seedy toe, white line disease and much more.

Pete has been a clinician for many years helping others understand how to implement natural horsemanship techniques  and competition training. Pete has held horsemanship, cattle and hoof trimming clinics in both Australia and NZ.

Pete legacy will continue on through his daughter Chloe who is an established rider, hoof trimmer and coach.

He has mentored a number of young students supporting them to achieve their dreams.

Some of his students now have their own establish equine businesses and compete at high levels of competition.

After many years of successful showing Pete has competed in and trained horses for reining, cutting, camp drafting, western pleasure, trail and halter

The breed of horse Pete has shown is ASH, QH and Paint horses.
